The well-attended demonstration hosted by ExpatWoman.com, the popular community site for women and families moving to and living in the UAE, helped to raise money for the children’s charity “the Rainbow Trust”.
Held at the beautiful Mark Wilkinson furniture showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road, the occasion saw 75 ladies charmed by Carmelo while he prepared a three-course sample of his

acclaimed Italian cuisine. They enjoyed the delicious menu, were spoilt with prizes and discounts at the Grand Millennium’s Dante restaurant and were extended special discounts and design advice by Mark Wilkinson furniture.
When asked how he felt about participating in this event, Carmelo said, “We’re delighted to be a part of such a wonderful experience. First of all the interaction is a lot of fun and at the same time it feels great to support such a worthy cause.”
The charitable organization “Rainbow Trust” provides emotional support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. The Support Workers join the family in their own home and are there to provide practical support. Rainbow relies almost entirely on voluntary donations and through the generosity of their supporters they are able to help around 1,000 families a year.
