Coral International Hotel - Al Khobar Expects to Drive Business with a Strong Presence at Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market 2011

A successful participation at last month’s Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market 2011 by Coral International Hotel – Al Khobar has underlined the potential for increased business in the Kingdom’s hospitality sector, according to general manager Abdul Karim Al Atiq who said that the level of interest from both trade visitors and media had been very high.

“This is the second time that we have exhibited at the event and it is growing in strength, with excellent attendance that indicates the strength of the travel industry in Saudi Arabia,” he said.

		Launched in 2008 and held at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center, the STTIM is organised by the Saudi Commission for Tourism & Antiquities, and is designed to showcase the country’s potential in the domestic tourism, corporate travel, meetings and events and religious tourism sectors. With full support from the Saudi government, the event aims to
promote the Saudi tourism brand locally and internationally and provide a suitable environment for travel and tourism professionals to become acquainted with a productive sector of the national economy. “For us, the show enabled our team to meet with potential customers from the trade and cement relationships that will help to make us the venue of choice for both corporate and leisure visitors to the Eastern Province,” added Mr Al Atiq. Centrally located within easy reach of the city’s prime attractions including the gold souk, amusement park and Saudi Aramco Exhibit, the Coral International – Al Khobar features 130 modern and spacious deluxe guestrooms and suites. Recreational amenities include an indoor swimming pool; a Health Club with state-of-the-art exercise equipment, sauna, steam rooms and Jacuzzis.
