The hotel management gathered to recognise and honour their business partners who have contributed towards the success of the hotel as a venue for both individual travellers and groups in the past year

Top producers from the world of leisure travel gathered at the Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha on November 23, 2010 for a festive cocktail party that was an opportunity for the hotel and IHG management to recognise their efforts in generating business at the Dubai hotel.

Awards were presented to the business partners that booked the most FIT (frequent individual traveller) business at the property as well as the most group business and the largest number of tours, with the presentations made by guest of honour, Mr Haitham Mattar - Director Operations Support and Franchising, Middle East & Africa for the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).

According to the General Manager Reda Moukhtar, the cocktail party was an opportunity to not only reward the top producing accounts for the hotel, but also to thank all the travel booking agents who contributed to the success of the Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha in its second year of operation.

“As management, we know we can offer guests a great product at a competitive rate, but it is our partners in the industry who contribute to our success by steering business in our direction,” he said.
“At this time of the year, it is especially relevant to acknowledge these partnerships and reward those who make those all important bookings.”

Along with Mr Moukhtar and his team, officials in attendance from the regional corporate offices of operating company IHG included Mr Haitham Mattar – Director Operations Support & Franchising MEA and Mr Patrick Wimble - Commercial Director for the Gulf.
