On Monday, November 22nd , the Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha, played host to the second Fusion Fashion Show of traditional Indonesian and Indian Batik outfits. The event took place at Xennya Terrace from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. All outfits were on sale after the show and proceeds generated from those were donated to be used for any catastrophes in Indonesia.

“Batik” or “the Art of little dots” can be traced back to ancient time. A fine batik is really hard to find especially in this part of the world though it is quite popular with international designers using ethnic material and techniques. Mr. Reda Moukhtar, General Manager, Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha said, “We are proud to promote this fashion show. It celebrates the history and rich tradition of Indonesia's ancient style and beauty”.
