Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha Welcomes Business Lunch
Holiday Inn Dubai - Al Barsha hosted meeting of General Managers of all the hotels in and around Al Barsha at its Royal Buddha restaurant.
Al Barsha is studded with hotels – all in close proximity to one another, and it’s viewed by the properties that it is good to have a close relationship with neighbours and competitors, to develop the hospitality industry as a whole in the area. The idea is to meet in a different hotel every month. Holiday Inn Dubai - Al Barsha was the chosen spot for December. “These meetings are a great way to exchange and discuss our different experiences. People may think that as competitors we don’t talk or share things, which isn’t the case," said Holiday Inn Al Barsha General Manager Reda Moukhtar.
“There are some things we don’t tell one another obviously, but many things are very beneficial to everyone and it’s a great insight to see how other properties tackle certain issues that affect us all. “It’s been a turbulent year in hospitality with the economic situation, so it’s great that all in our industry come together to ensure everyone pulls through the tough times," he said.
He also said that the meetings aside from being useful were very enjoyable too, the perfect opportunity to mull over pressing issues as well as the light hearted moments that all the managers can share and laugh about.
