Taekwondo Lessons at Coral Beach Resort - Sharjah

Coral Beach Resort - Sharjah will be the scene of some thrilling martial art action this April when former World Taekwondo Federation champion Kenan Parlak takes up residence. A past member of both the German and Turkish national teams and the holder of an 8th Dan, one of the highest Taekwondo black belts awarded, Kenan will be showing off his spectacular skills at a demonstration session on 2nd April especially for guests and members of the hotel’s Rimal Club.

Kenan’s talents are already well known in the UAE, as on previous visits he has trained with the Sharjah police force and even coached a local Sheikha. The Taekwondo Master is also renowned as a Reiki-style healer who uses a holistic approach to relieve stress and promote an individual’s well-being.

Hotel General Manager Jean Pierre Simon said that he was delighted to be hosting the champion: “Having Kenan teach our guests Taekwondo will undoubtedly prove to be a fascinating and rewarding experience for all participants.”

From April 2nd to 15th, Kenan, and his son who is accompanying him on the trip, will be offering private classes on Fridays and Saturdays and group trial lessons in the evenings. The lessons

are divided into sessions for men, women and children under 12 and one hour costs AED 120, or just AED 100 for Rimal Club members. Those wishing to book should call the hotel on 06 522 9999 and ask to be put through to the recreation department.
